Founded in 2001 as a local child identification and school safety program
serving just the Los Angeles area; today CHIP® The Child I.D. Program has
exploded into an International Operation. More than 150 CHIP® Programs are
independently owned and operated by wonderful & caring people within your
community. The roots of CHIP® date back to 1988 & 1989 when company founders
Marc & Karen Bakerman began their careers in the Child Safety arena. With more
than 30 years of combined experience, the Bakerman's continue to lead this
industry with innovative, useful and intelligent child safety products. The
CHIP® Child I.D.Program is offered exclusively at ("no cost" to the school)
through all Public & Private Schools on a "Parent Option" basis.
