Bournemouth Airport
Bournemouth International Airport
Airport Code: BOH

Bournemouth Airport
Bournemouth Airport lies on the northern edge of Bournemouth, one of
Britain's most popular holiday resorts. The airport is only ten to fifteen
minutes from the town centre and is served by an excellent road network.
If you are travelling from London or anywhere along the M3 corridor simply
take the M3 southbound towards Southampton. Where the M3 joins the M27 follow
the westbound directions for Bournemouth.
Passengers travelling from the Sussex/Kent coast have direct access to the M27
via the A27. At its western end the M27 becomes the A31 dual carriageway as it
crosses the New Forest.Shortly after the town of Ringwood you will need to
exit left onto the A338 dual carriageway and follow the signs for Bournemouth.
Five miles along the A338 you will see the B3073 exit for Bournemouth Airport
clearly signposted on your left.
The total journey time from the M25 to Bournemouth Airport can be as little
as 75 minutes ! If you are travelling from the Midlands or the North of England we would
recommend you head for Oxford and join the A34 dual carriageway. The A34 will
take you south as far as Winchester at which point you should join the M3
southbound and follow the directions given above. From the South West
the most direct route is to head for Wimborne using the A35. On reaching
Wimborne join the A31 and you will find the airport clearly marked. | |
